Kendal serves as President of SYNC Energy Services. Kendal Hansen worked for D.H. Blattner and Blattner Energy throughout the US. He worked as the general manager for CMG Oil and Gas in the Bakken. In 2022 Kendal founded SYNC Energy Services based on the discovery of IPP’s need for specialized and qualified hands-on commissioning services to serve the power market.
Brandon Kraus serves as Chief Operating Officer for SYNC Energy Services. Brandon Kraus grew up on a farm in SW Minnesota and later received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at North Dakota State University in 2005. He began his career in renewable energy at D.H. Blattner, eventually Blattner Energy, and worked as a Field Coordinator, Project Coordinator, and Estimator. He then attended Trinity College Dublin where he received an MBA in 2017. Brandon joined Summit Energy Group in 2018 and worked as a consultant for a wind energy contractor and solar energy developer through 2022 when he left to work for Terra-Gen as a Director of Construction. In 2024, Brandon re-joined Summit Energy Group and SYNC Energy Services as its Chief Operating Officer.
Chase Wilkins serves as Operations Manager of SYNC Energy Services. Chase Wilkins grew up in Montana and attended college at Montana State University and earned a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Upon graduating he went to work for Blattner Energy for 6 years throughout the U.S. working in Renewable Energy focusing on utility scale solar as a Field Engineer and Electrical Superintendent.
Asiel Rodriguez serves as EHS Manager for SYNC Energy Services. Asiel Rodriguez grew up in Homestead, Florida, and is currently residing in Waco, Texas. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Over the past five and half years, he traveled throughout the U.S. working as a Safety Manager in the conventional generation and renewable energy fields. In August of 2025, he joined SYNC Energy Services team as its EHS Manager.
Gary Young serves as General Superintendent of SYNC Energy Services. Gary Young joined the SYNC team in early 2024, bringing with him 20 plus years of experience in and around the energy field. Prior to joining SYNC Energy Service’s team, Gary worked with Blattner Energy as a Superintendent for 3 years throughout the U.S. working in Renewable Energy focusing on utility scale Solar Sites.
Justin Chaffin serves as Process Engineer for SYNC Energy Services. Justin Chaffin joined the team in early 2025, bringing with him over 12 years of experience in the commercial and industrial electrical field. Prior to SYNC Energy Services, Justin worked for CEI in Montana as a Superintendent managing various complex electrical projects.
Blake Lewis serves as General Superintendent of SYNC Energy Services. Blake joined the SYNC team in early 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience across renewable energy, telecommunications, and advanced field operations. Prior to joining SYNC Energy Services, he held senior field and engineering support roles with NOV M/D Totco, Renewance Inc., and Lighthouse Solar, supporting utility‑scale solar, energy storage, wind, and hybrid inverter technologies throughout the U.S.
